While they also offer dentures, teeth implants are the best solution for many reasons. Dental restorations secured with implants are durable enough to function like natural teeth, blend in with perfectly with your surrounding teeth and can last a lifetime if cared for properly.
Dentures will only replace the crown portions of the missing teeth while implants actually replace the roots in addition to the crown portions. Our implant restorations are custom to accommodate all of your missing teeth, even for patients who are missing all of their teeth.

MULTIPLE DENTAL IMPLANTS AT CORBIN DENTAL
For patients missing multiple teeth, your dentist will place several dental implants and restore them with either a dental bridge or denture.
IMPLANT SUPPORTED BRIDGE:
A dental bridge is a restoration that we use to replace several consecutive missing teeth. On each end of the fixture are dental crowns with the false teeth in the middle. We call false teeth “pontics”. A traditional fixed bridge is used to replace a one to three consecutive missing teeth. However, the process requires that two teeth adjacent to the gap be ground down to support the entire bridge.
A dental bridge that is supported by dental implants is permanently secured in placed and doesn’t require damaging any healthy, remaining teeth. Your dentist will place at least two dental implants in the jaw and then attached the custom made dental bridge to them holding it securely in place. This solution can replace multiple missing teeth. The implants will act like teeth roots and provide structural support for the jaw and bite.
IMPLANT SUPPORTED DENTURE:
A denture is a custom made dental restoration that is used to replace most or all of the teeth along an arch. They help return function and aesthetics to edentulous patients.
A traditional removable denture will replace the crowns of the missing teeth, but not the roots. The false teeth will be attached to a gum colored base that is held in place by forming a suction/seal with the gums. Sometimes, adhesive is required to help hold it securely in place.
A far more superior option is to secure a denture to dental implants. As little as four implants that we surgically place into the jaw bone will permanently hold the restoration in place. Learn more about All-On-Four implants here.
Dentures supported by implants will prevent bone loss in the jaw and allow for a greater chewing force. This lets the patient enjoy a larger selection of food. Your dentist will determine how many implants you will need and strategically place them along the arch. Then he will attach a custom made denture that will complete your smile.
